Welcome to our home! We are a close knit family of 6. Deric, devoted father & husband grew up 10min away in Oakland, Maine. Spent over 5yrs as a class 1 welder at Maines Bath & Iron works before starting his own Roofing Business & doing Mill Wright work. In his spare time you can find Deric in the gardens, in the woods hiking, riding anything with a motor or spinning fire.
Cashlin was raised in the Western Mountains of Maine. Her family avid hunters, & her Grandfather an Olympic Marksman, passing the family tradition down to their 3 daughters & son. A professional photographer, herbalist, and skilled Chef, but first & foremost a homeschool mom.
Despite growing into a full sized family they have always held their door open for friends, family & guest's. Making their house a frequent stop for all, & finding themselves hosting large events regularly.
The goal of the Wedding venue is to give time back to the family as a whole & to grow. Bringing Cashlins dream wedding venue to life as they were the first ones to get married in the barn after 8 years together & 4 children. Treelyn, Dream, Daota & Obsidian. Hopefully one day, the Homestead will be passed down to their children. Keeping the property in the family is important as they are only the 2nd family to own the 1826 Homestead.
